What we do
We grow vegetables, herbs, and a handful of stubborn fruit trees at 98 Hortense St, Maribyrnong. Members tend their own individual plots, small or large, while shared beds, fruit trees, and common areas are cared for together at working bees. We meet most weekends, and anyone is welcome, no green thumb required.
How the garden runs
There's no boss. Decisions get made over tea on the back step. We work in seasons rather than sprints, and we try to leave each bed a little better than we found it. If you'd like to be part of it, the easiest first step is to show up to a working bee, see the events page.
